Whats it Worth?

Recommended Posts

I have a practically new 07 450 x that I would like to sell. It has the Baja Designs dual sport kit and is street legal. Only 117 miles and 5.3 hours, never wrecked or dropped and has an adjustable fuel screw and that is it as far a aftermarket goes. What do you think is a fair asking price for this bike? Thanks!

Its already on ebay if you would like to take a look.

kbb says $5100 for a stocker. normally mods are better sold seperately since they add little value if any, but i think your bike as a dual sport should fetch a little bit more above that if it is in pristine condition. new '08s go for about $6000 otd right now to put it into perspective.

The fact that your X is street legal is a bonus to many buyers, IMO. Good luck with the sale.

... I'd have to say, great marketing technique!! :banghead:

Ask what a bike is worth, as you post the ebay link and get more hits... and the word out to others who may be interested. All while avoiding a "for sale" post out of the classifieds section.... GOOD JOB!:)
