New 2t engine design! Anyone say DI Hydrogen 2stroke?

Recommended Posts

Not too sure if this has been posted before (or if its old) but

Check this stuff out: :)

I rate the future of the motorcycle WILL NOT be electric (or atleast not mainstream) or Fuel cell ( I dont want to ride a vacuum cleaner!)

Imagine running a DI hydrogen internal combustion 2t! The sound , the revs + it will be green...

Here is a flash presentation :

"Other engine-makers, notably Orbital in Australia, are applying modern technology such as direct injection to the two stroke, but cost-effectiveness remains an issue. "

This means it's not going to happen anytime soon for dirt bikes... I wouldnt get your hopes up.

Well there isnt really any need for a hydrogen dirtbike now. Infact it wouldnt perform quite as good as a conventional 2t ,but at least its something sustainable. The current main issue is with cars & trucks. Its nice to see that not everyone is jumping on the fuel cell bandwagon. Im super happy with my current 2t , but would hate to have electric as the only alternative in the future.
