Removing Number Plate Backgrounds

Recommended Posts

B e careful with a Wagner heat gun, it will melt your plastic in the blink of an eye. If you dont have one, dont buy it. use a hair dryer set on high and warm the sticker up at he corner until the adhesive gets greasy, peel from the corner then heat from the backside of the sticker while pulling. Easy as pie.

Like he said... hair dryer works well too and it's foolproof. Be very careful what you use to get the rest of the glue off.

A lot of cleaners will take the shine right off the plastics (Goo Gone etc). Soapy water or Orange based cleaners work fine.

Goo Gone is and orange based cleaner - Smells like it any way. Have you had a bad exp with it and plastic?
