Hey MLN, According to my calculations, if you paid 7800 CAN, you couldn't have gotten the bike for 4850 US out the door. That would have put the exchange rate somewhere it hasn't been for the last three plus years. The dealer said 7800 and I offered 7400, which he took. They added a very reasonable 99 CAN setup (I'm seein some US dealers advertising low and then charging $700 to $800 "setup fees" - what a voodoo, backdoor way of misleading a lot of consumers). I paid the $524 CAN GST tax which I'll get back from the CAN Gov after I send in the paperwork. And SFO..... I too am not a dealer in case it sounds that way. I just did my homework for a few months and found what I thought was the best deal. Good luck Stevo. If you pay a little more, don't worry.....the thing is worth every penny.
