01 cr250 jetting advice

Recommended Posts

Ok i have a 2001 cr250 with a pro circuit pipe and i just put v force reeds on it. The bike runs amazing it seems however, im not to familiar with a two stroke. i had read in an article "what honda didnt tell you about the 2001 cr250" or somthing like that that i should change my main jet rom a 420 to a 430 my pilot to a 32 instead of a 35 and the needle to a H176 from a h173. my only question is i believe that is advice for a stock 250 do these jetting sound right or is there any other recommendations?

I have a fmf fatty and a short for the bike with the jetting changed. Last night I installed a vforce3 and a power now. Now the bike smokes really bad now. Do I need to rejet my carb? Please help. I don't know which ones to change.
