How do you adjust the float level?

I want to check mine/make sure its adjusted correctly. How do i do this? Wish i had a service manual but unfortunately i don't.

If the bike's running and not spilling fuel everywhere or sputtering at full throttle then you can probably assume it's fine. Don't fix what aint broken.

the above post is accurate, but just incase your bored and you still want to do it... take the carb out, get the specs for what the height should be (probably on here somewhere) and use calipers to see how high the float has to go up before it shuts the valve.

So how do i actually see the height of it? and wheres the bolt or whatever it is that "adjusts" it?

What if you had a clear hose on the bowl overflow and lifted the loose end above the bowl then open the bowl drain. Would you now see the float level in the hose?

That might work if you could find a measurement of what it should be. But if you dont know what it should be, you cant compare what yours is.
