Finally... Warm enough to ride...

Recommended Posts

So today in West Michigan it was finally warm enough to take my new to me SM out for a ride. The first stroll was a learning curve.

At first I was like. Whoa, what did I just get into... I mean it is NOT a supersport... Why oh why did I do this... Then I got my shifting down and started feeling it. It slowly dawned on me... I was sitting upright, I was looking around, I was finally feeling the pull as I went up through the gears... I went through a s curve at 50 miles an hour... This thing could turn...

So The second stroll was a lot more fun. I felt more comfortable, more smiles.

I will say that if you have to travel in a straight line for a long period of time, hope that the speed limit is not 35... Boring... very boring...

But stop signs and no traffic... Lots of revs and take offs..

I finally got into some twisties and felt great. Can't wait for the carb upgrade...

Peace,

Chet
