2008 +yoshimura pipe jetting?

Recommended Posts

Just put a yosh pipe on my stock 08 motor. The motor is all stock for now with a fresh OEM piston in it.Im running a stock air filter with no screen in the cage. Ive rode it very little so far(just comming back from breaking my femur) and the bike seems little lean. When its hot it doesnt want the hot start used and I cant adjust the fuel screw enough to make it start with the hot start when hot.I am in florida so my elevation would be around 0-100ft I would guess?

So should I go up one on my main?Or try a larger piolt?Or maybe just raise the needle up a clip?

Up one on the pilot and the main. Try that. Fatten the pilot until the fuel screw is in range (1-1/2 to 3 turns)

When you fatten the pilot and the main see if the mid throttle (needle) feels flat or surges, if so fatten one clip. With my yosh I went up 1 pilot and 2 main 1 clip.

And that pipe rocks!!

I had the yoshi on my 08 and left the jetting standard. I put in a Tokyo Mods piston from BTO sports and the thing was so fast.

Just put the yoshi on my 09, they are the best pipes available. ENJOY!
