Fork Bottoming

compression too soft and/or springs too soft and/or:

fork: oil level too low, oil worn

shock: too little gas, too little oil, oil worn

ok i got my forks off and i got my friends off we have the same bike mine feel a lot softer and i can compress mine a lot easier.. i can move mine about an Inch and a half and his about half an inch why are his so hard and mine so soft?Plus i cleaned my for seal they are semi new but they were had alot of dirt inbetween the seal and fork leg..they are not leaking now ..but mine still feel hella softer compared to his/.please help i got a race this weekend:worthy:

need more info!!!! bike u ride are u guys the same weight? is ur rear sag the same as his are they both stock bikes same springs etc...

If ur bottoming out too much you could ad a little oil, oil level affects the last third of the stroke, but ur saying its too soft at the begining of the stroke as well? if thats the case stiffer spring sounds like a plan.... or you need more dampening.....????? anyone
