CR85 with 60t sprocket...

I'm buying an 07 CR85 this saturday and the guy said it has a 60t rear sprocket so it gets off the line faster...Is this too much? Should i buy a 50T?

We used to run a 50 tooth on the rear and pulled second gear starts with a 100 pound rider. I think 49 is stock. That's on the small wheel bike. I think stock on the big wheel is 55 teeth.

So is a 60 tooth too much? I'm not going to be racing in events so i don't need to get a whole shot in a race. This is going to be my track bike though.

I believe 60 is way too much. We just went from the 49 stock to a 50. Helps my son get on pipe quicker and a little quicker out of the turns. A 60 would have you shifting too often and lose all your top end..

In his craigslist ad it says 50, but when he told me the mods, he said 60.

Nevermind he said it's for sure a 60T...I'm going to buy a 50T as soon as i get it. Here's a pic...
