99 KX250 Master Cylinder and Brake Line

The previous owner of my 99 KX250 stripped the threads for the fluid reservoir screws. I managed to drill and tap one of them, but while tapping threads for the other the tap snapped and I can't get the piece out.

What other master cylinders will fit this bike? If I get one from a 00+ KX250, can I use the same brake line? I know the 99 uses a different style than the 00+ because I have a new lever for a 00 KX250 and it doesn't fit.

Your best bet is to buy a complete system on Ebay. I sold one for a 2000 (master, line, caliper, lever, pads) for $40 shipped. My 2000 is pretty mushy, my 07250F is pretty nice. I didn't check if the caliper bolts up to the 2000 forks though but the lever for the F is the same as my 2000.
