Whatever you do, DONT go with Kingsway, they always seem to have the worst rates in the province! :)

To give you an idea, they quoted me $7500 a year for my 625 SMC..I'm 21 single, with a clean record M2 and 5 years riding experience on the street. Liability only.

Jevco was the cheapest for me at $1500/year. Liability only.

I'm with state farm and I pay a little over $400 per year full coverage on my DRZ400SM. I'm 32, full M with a good record.

I payed $788.00 for my 08 DR-Z400sm with an M1 last year through Kingsway. My broker tells me it will go down $100.00 this year. I'm in Guelph, so PM me if you want more info, or want to ride some time. There are quite a few SM owners locally.

$7500????

Yea, that wasn't a typo. I was shocked! :usa: It's a friggin dirt bike with street tires, not a Ducati Desmo.

I'm 28 and have a 07' DRZ400SM , $85 per month @$1020 per yr- 1st year rider, first bike. I shopped around and got some insane quotes, just shop around and you'll find a good deal somewhere. State Farm worked for me!

Is that full insurance or just comprehensive? Do you have your auto or home insurance with them?

Reason I'm asking is I called for a quote on my Blue plated WR250F. They want $628 for just fire and theft. But that is twice your price!

Male, 29, Full M licence, clean record.

It was $30 with full coverage, but I dropped the collision.

I have everything with them.

Some agents are better informed than others, so it might pay to call around.

Ahhh.. you have other insurance with them. No point bringing my truck over to them as they want twice as much as my current company. Thanks for the help!

I've heard that before, but for my car/truck insurance, they are half what everybody else wants.
