z400 jetting question

I have a 2004 Z400 with a white brothers e2 full system with loud insert, esr full intake with no air box, and jetted with what ever came with the pipe. the bike started popping when we put the intake on, almost like its getting too much air. i dont have the stock air box anymore. i am going to re-jet the bike. what would you guys reccomend for jetting. i am pretty much at sea level

BUMP...pulled off carb this afternoon....has a 165 main, stock 22.5 pilot.....am going to adjust fuel screw to 2.5 turns and put in a 25 pilot....my question is i pulled out the needle and it is not adjustable....just has one groove for the clip? is this stock? is it worth buying an adjustable needle or just put it together with the 165 main, 25 pilot, and 2.5 turns fuel screw?
