It's starting to get very nasty!

I changed the crankshaft of my XR400 (2001) for one from a TRX400 (2004) together with the balancer, 2 new main-bearings and 2 new balancer-bearings.

Everything worked fine for 2 weeks and then a kind of grinding noise started to come out of the center of the engine.

When assembling everything went fine and the first 2 weeks it was 100% ok.

Anybody any idea?

The only things what it can be in my opinion is that the inner-ring of the right-main-bearing (clutch-side) is not tight on the crankshaft; it moves separate from the crankshaft. But is also did with a brand new crankshaft....
