Missing O Ring

Want oil bypassing the filter?

If the dealer doesn't have it in stock you can get a filter from NAPA auto parts. It comes with the gaskets. Part number PS7931

How does it bypass the filter w/o the little o ring?

Isn't there enough pressure w/ the spring/nuts?

I seem to remember 13 X 2mm. Almost any size that fits over the boss will do. 9/16 X 3/32 (2-113) is close. Available at many auto parts and hardware stores. And yes it is necessary to assure oil goes thru the filter.

The little o-ring is there to seal the filter to the housing. Without that seal a small amount of the oil will move between the filter and the case instead of going through the filter. I'd rather all the oil went through the filter.
