fcr question

I just purchased an old style(slant) fcr and was wondering if the parts needed for the conversion are the same as for the new style? And are all these suzuki part #s ? And finally can anybody recommend jetting set up for riding between 7000-9000ft. Bike is stock except for 3x3 mod.

021-216 FCR Adapter 2 3/8", carb to S airboot

- 021-439 Adaptor O-Ring

- 017-262 EMN Needle

- 021-012 Airboot adapter bolts (2)

- P/N 13111-29F00 OEM Suzuki E Intake Manifold

- P/N 09402-58208 OEM Suzuki Clamp

- P/N 13685-29F00 OEM Suzuki Vacuum Port Nipple

the last 3 are zuk oem #.

the first 3 are sudco# i think.

all parts for the conversion are the same.

You will need the E throttle cable as well.

Any fitment issues with this carb? Is it a bitch to install? And one final FCR question. Can anyone recommend jetting at sea level with just the 3x3 mod?

you can use your oem s cables.

nope,have slant on my sm and stock cable works fine.

Really, I heard the S cables were slightly too long. Is your cable adjuster screw maxed out? Is the cable making contact with the frame?

Can I buy all the jets i need seperate?

Yes, you can buy jets separately. Most decent MC shops will have them. Take the old ones in to make sure you get the right style.
