clutch slipping

Recommended Posts

so i had the crankcase fill with fuel 2 times lately, i guess the fuel could have sit in the crankcase a couple of weeks each time. i replaced the carb so i wont have that issue anymore. now the clutch slips. im wondering if it just needs a clutch or if the fuel might have eaten the cork plates?????????? its a 94 with 7400 miles and im assuming the original clutch but who knows. i have cleaned clutch plates in gas and solvent a time or two....... but ive never let the soak for that long before if you know what i mean

got the clutch fixed. plates were pretty worn down do i dont know about my fuel in the crankcase theory. it was slipping much more than i realized. i just finished the FCR carb install and it pulled a nice power wheelie through second gear. i could barely even get the tire to spin on gravel before. so anyways. done deal.
