Hydraulic clutch info needed

Recommended Posts

I need to replace my Hydraulilc clutch on my ktm 2008 xcf 505. I found a Magura Clutch at a great price. they have a 9.5m and a 9.0m. I dont know what this means. does anyone know? My broken clutch says 10.5 on the bottom. Will a 9.5M work?

If KTM does it like everybody else....it's the piston diameter of the cylinder.. the larger the cylinder, the more fluid moved.. increasing the firmness at the lever and shortening the total amount of lever travel required.... and, of course, the smaller the piston, the greater the mechanical leverage, resulting in more total power available in say.. a brake system, but longer lever travel and sometimes an undesireable feel... it's a personal preference thing. the 9.5 will work... it may have a slightly different feel at the lever and a bit more lever travel than your original
