My FCR install thread

I took the old carb off, and put the FCR on.

pre 96, kick start only, straight swap

faffing about with jetting now, currently got a mikuni 380 hex jet in it (same thread and they didnt sell bigger in the shop keihin style, should turn up 2moro!!) already the carb is a million times better, the throttle response is sharper than the tension you feel meeting the missus' ever so slightly younger sister for the 1st time ?

it really does open the bike up so much lower, 2500rpm up is stable, none of that nasty boggy deadness from the old carb, the bike, is happy

heck ya.........if you arent running this carb on a DR650 you are missing out!!!

Yeh I need one of those. Theres a bloke up the road in repton who's got one for 90 beans but Im skint at the mo ?

next step is to help her breathe a little better, top gear full throttle is still a bit of a struggle, exhaust mod time next!!
