throttle positon sensor

Recommended Posts

And why is there a neutral sensor if it can start in any gear?

it is wired to the cdi. It acts as a rev limiter while in neutral.

Jesse, do you adjust the TPS when you do your carb mods? i'm wondering if that could cause my stumble at 1/4 throttle? can i just unplug it to test?

its better after your mods but still there.

Sure you can unplug it to test. You can also loosen torx screw, and rotate it clockwise about 2mm, and try that.

Yes I adjust those with my carb mods... it varies depending on what motor is and what's being done to it.

In your case it's in stock position. Your carb was missing the o-ring on the fuel screw.. I was hoping that was a big part of your problem.

It's very hard to jet a big bore "over the phone". I also put a 40 or 50 leak jet in it... it may actually be too rich. Does it cough and almost die.. or does it kind of stumble?

jesse, it just kinda stumbles, i think i had a 70 leak jet in when i sent it to you, it is a little better now. its not really off idle, thats great, its more around 1/4 throttle, if i just hold it there its just not a smooth running motor, slight stumble feel?
