The guy's on ktmtalk love those older big 2t ktm's. They say the they are rock solid reliable bikes and power that will put a new 450 to shame.

I have owned some big bore 2t's and you have to respect the power they

have. Becouse they do bite back.

Fast and scary!

Scary cuz' they handle like...a 20 year old euro bike.

Fast cuz any 500 2 stroke is gonna be fast. I know at some point KTM had produced the most powerful big bore MX 2 stroke race bike in the history of the sport.

I would use that bike to ride in fields and on fire roads. The wrong busted part might have it sidelined for a long time. 62Hp and 227 pounds on the trail? Day-Um

As soon as I saw your bike, I suddenly remember seeing pictures in Dirt Rider, circa 1988, of Kevin Hines riding a 350 two-stroke.
