Could be a thumbs up but I haven't seen one on a DRZ yet up close.

that looks pretty intense...i kinda like it. i give :)

granted, it's prob heavier than the all alum one but it looks cool for a woods bike. not saying it's the best functional, but surely nice looking

I like it! Who's got the DRZ with the pannier racks that look similar to those case guards? they would go good together

I'm a carbon fiber guy myself, but that is kinda cool! It looks like something you would see on a Mad Max bike. Gives it that "tough" look. I imagine if you are doing the kind of trail riding that requires you needing that, you aren't too worried about the fact that it weighs 8.5lbs.

The Skid Plate sold by Utah Sport Cycle, is also the exact same piece marketed by Moose, TT, MSR, and Baja Designs. I have one too, and it's great. I dunno who actually makes this skid plate, but with that many different vendors labeling it as their own, they must make a lot of them.

I was waiting for someone to bring up the price. That's what made me shake my head! I just put the TT skid plate on mine and the price beats the HELL out of $230!

Anyone who rides woods will know that thing will pack full of mud right where the mesh is. Looks cool but 8.5lbs and $230??? nah..
