Wheelies finally getting longer!

I got my -06 DRZSM a couple of weeks ago, and I really wanted to learn how to wheelie this thing.

Looked at the how to wheelie video on Youtube, and took it slow. At first, I just reved it up, but lately, I've learned how to clutch it up instead! Man, what a difference! I can now clutch it up in second, shift to third, and still be up at balancepoint (almost)! It's still a little scary with the front that high up, but I do cover my rear brake (and know how to use it....) I also did the rear brake mod, to have some more control with boots on.

I can also clutch it up in third gear, but I haven't had the guts to shift into fourth gear yet, but I'm getting there!?

Little by little you'll get there! Take it easy and you'll have it mastered!

Just an FYI, much easier to shift if you don't use the clutch... just pull up and give the throttle a whack closed and back open.

That's what I've started to do Regalman, I just use clutch to bring it up, and then wack it into next gear without any clutch.
