anyone run this in their 250s?

the reason im asking as me and a buddy both had 450s and mine was overheating spewing some coolant out the overflow once at a mud race and his was fine with the water wetter..

any suggestions appreciated

That or Engine Ice. Both work well, but we're only talking about five to ten degrees difference over regular anti-freeze/water mix. I'd check for other problems. Smashed radiator vanes? Low coolant levels to begin with? Stuff like that.

bionic218 is right though, does he have a stock water pump or aftermarket? Maybe he was not working hte bike as hard?

he deff wouldnt of been revving it as hard..

but it was the same day, same moto...mine was spewin and his wasnt.

i guess there are a lot of variables but he was running the wetter in the same engine as mine and mine was spewin..

I use to use water wetter in my mod 125, never had overheating problems even in mud, now I use Engine Ice cuz its just fill and go.

I've run into bikes that were factory filled with almost straight coolant. when changed out to 50/50 (or less) it solved cooling issues.
