KTM 250SX-F Fork Springs

Recommended Posts

So I just bought an 80-250 spring and have my sag set for my weight (205 without gear). Now what to do with the forks? .46s or .48s? I have been told both... What is a good method for determining the proper fork spring?

Thanks,

Mike

Oh yeah, its a 2007

Well I would off used a 7.6 with .46 fork springs if I was using a straight rate on the back. But the .48 is a better match for the 8.0 straight, but both ends will be a little heavy in rate for you in my opinion.

Best setup would be a PDS5 and .46 fork springs.

Go to KTMtalk to get plenty of conflicting advice.

Thanks, been to ktm talk and got a lot of conflicting advice already! I'm setting the bike up for supermoto so I like it a little stiffer than normal. Looks like the .48s are the way to go.

Thanks again,

Mike

Another question... Are my forks closed chamber (CC) or open chamber (OC)? And, are the OC and CC springs the same? 2007 250SX-F
