2006 250X Oil

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, this is probably a stupid question, but I use HP4M in my engine and HP4 honda oil in my transmission. My question is can I run the same oil in both the engine and transmission..? I'm trying to save some money if I can.

Sorry if thats a retarted question...:)

Why don't you... I was thinking that maybe the Moly may make the clutch slip, and if you don't use the Moly, it may not get the right lubrication..

I use Amsoil full synth 10w-40 motorcycle oil. 10 bucks a quart, but we got 3 cases when I got sponsored @ 50% off. Run it in the GSXR, Shadow, 250X and 450X and its great.
