Anybody got an extra kickstand?

I lowered my bike because I'm inseam challenged (29"). Have the Kouba Links #2 on the bike and it sits precariously with the current kickstand. Was thinking I'd like to buy an extra one and cut it down. Keep my stock one stock, if I ever decide to go back to stock links. My bike is a 2002 DRZ400S. Let me know what you might have and how much you would like for it please. Thanks, c good

I am also inseam challenged and own a 2002 DRZ 400S. Have been thinking about the kouba links. Did it make a big difference. Sorry, I don't have a extra kickstand.

i have a DR 650 Kickstand. Let me compare it to the one on my SM, and i'll get back to you if it looks like it will bolt up.

Interesting. I would not have thought that lowering a little would have had that much of a profound impact on the kick stand angle. Although, I've always thought that the stock kick stand on an S or SM was too short. When I get off of my S, it seems that there's too much weight transfered to the kick stand. You try to park the bike in anything remotely soft and it just continues to sink in. I'd personally like to have one a little longer.

Check the TT listings and check ebay, there's always one or two on there. If not today, check back in a day or two...there will be one on there eventually.

I have the "S" kickstand on my SM and it sits up a lot straighter but the issue is if the strong breeze comes my bike will fall over.

I do have an extra kickstand but it's an "S" stand. Why not just cut yours down?

Definitely try and get one for a DRZ SM. Made a huge difference for me when I converted my DRZ-E to SM.

I have an S one you can cut down and reweld... it came off a dedicated dirtbike and isn't in pristine shape. PM me if your intersted, I can take pics tonight.
