Thinking about getting a 230 but friend says I need 125!

id say get the 125. i had a 150f as my first bike and its just like my dads 230, it was really heavy but easy to ride. i couldnt stand the weight so i got a 150r big wheel and it flys. its light like a 2 stroke, not underpowered, and fun. it does require more maitenance because its a mx bike regardless of it being 2 or 4 stroke. i think you will "outgrow" the 230 powerwise very quick.

+1 ..... it takes skill to pilot a 125 clutch eater through the woods...and once u get the hang of it its really rewarding

and like magic-man was saying....230 is way underpowered for its weight!

i completley agree! i just recently got a 230 and it's the same sze as a wr450!!! for its size to power ratio it has got the engine of a pw50
