Pricing for TTR125L ?

I am looking to get a 125L for my almost 11 year old son who has outgrown his CR60. What is a decent price for a used 125L, and what year were they first introduced ?

go to kbb(KelleyBlueBook) an then type your zip code in. Choose Retail, then just choose the year, make, and model, and that is how I find out around the price I am going to pay for my bikes.

I bought an 01 last Dec for $1700. I wouldn't pay more than $2000.

Thanks guys, at least now I know what to be watching for. The funny thing is that a local shop here is selling the 125 (not L) for $1699 new. Of course taxes and assembly and other fees will be added but that seems pretty cheap.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I would definitely recommend the L with the larger wheels and disk brakes. It will give your son a little room to grow and it handles terrain a little better, plus it is only like a hundred bucks more. you mentioned your dealer had one new, I just bought my wife an 03 ttr125L for $2500 out the door in september down here in san diego.

Who has the 125 for $1699? Definitely not Mission Yamaha. I am looking for two 125LEs and one 125E. LA Yamaha is the cheapest place I have found around here. Who is your source?
