Difference 250 suspension vs 450???

I have 2 bikes a 250 06- whit racetech suspension and a 450 07- whit stock suspension. I want to have the racetech on my 450 and what is the difference between them? They look and fit on the bike... I know that the 450 suspension is more stiff becouse its a heavy bike... But are the springs the only difference???

Even if both suspensions were both stock, the valving for the 450 would be stiffer and I know the shock shaft from your '07 450 is a millimeter or two longer.
