hi i have an rmx 250 2000 model and it doesnt have a kill switch i was wondering if anyone can show me a picture of what one looks like and tell me where it plugs in thanks

The RMX 250 was not imported into the USA after the 1998 model, hence this part number 37820-14X50 may or may not fit your 2000. It's for the '98 which I have. Maybe one of your fellow "down under" riders will respond. Or simply check with your dealer. Many aftermarket kill-switches are available and will plug right in. I don't know for a fact, but I think the post-'98 RMX's sold in Australia are based off the same year RM's, so check kill-switches for those too. Good luck.

That is a sweet looking ride you have there. I am working my my 1990 RM125 and the plastic style was the same as the RMX for the entire model run in the US. It gives us older bike projects something to shoot for.

I just got a $15 kill switch from the local store and wired it in. Works fine, well worth the $15 ?

There will be a place on the wiring harness for it. If you have the manual, it would help, or try the dealer or on-line schematics.

The wiring diagram in the service manual tells you where the kill switch gets wired into.

As for the year, 1999 model was the last one released in Australia i'm pretty sure. So perhaps yours is a 1999 model sold in 2000 (year of first registration). Check the build year on the head stem plate.
