Leak near top of stator cover

i got oil coming from somewhere near the top of my stator cover, its an 05 sm...with an aftermarket moose stator...is it possible that the oil could be coming from the boot tht the wires pass through on top of the stator cover? if so what can i do to fix it??

Its possible, unlikely but possible.

You could always run a little instant gasket round the rubber to make sure.

First, clean the area completely, ride a littel, confirm the point of origin. If it is the wire pass through, clean the area and use a tiny bead of ThreeBond. That will solve it
