What Gearing Are You Guys Running?

2002 CR125r. Stock gearing right now. I am thinking of adding one or two teeth to the rear. I know its a 125, but it seems to be lacking a tad in the low end. I have it jetted very well, and I can handle it usually with clutching, but I would like to see the difference. I dont wanna make too many changes because the bike doesnt have that great of top end speed to begin with, but I can sacrifice it. What do you guys run?

13-52

With that gearing, there are a few tracks where I run out of gear.

Thanks :p:lol:

13-53 seems perfect to me.good bottom end and seems fairly fast on the top end:)

13-50 (Stock I think?) but I ride woods with long straights. Usually in 3rd. Theres only 3 spots where I can keep it 5th gear pinned for more than 5 seconds.

13-53

I run a 13/52 didn't notice much of a difference from the stock though. But I payed for the sprocket so I figured I might as well use it.

13/48 on my kx250f

We are running 13/49 on my son's 02 CR125. He's ony 105 lbs. A heavier rider will probably need a bigger rear sprocket. I think 13/52 is stock.

Not on mine, stock is 13/48 on the 2005 CR 250

Now I run stock 07 CR 125 13/52, but I wil take 12/52. Trial, wood rider

12/50 Is stock I believe. I think my next will have 13/53
