Lowering a TT 110???

Recommended Posts

With the liberal kids apparently eating lead-laced motorcycles and causing a ban on the smaller ones, I picked up a TT 110 for my 8yo son.

He fits on it OK, but he is not very big and would be better off if it were about an inch lower. Anyone know of a way to lower it a little?

Thanks,

DK

The easiest thing is to shave the seat. That's what I did on my son't KLX110 when he was 7.

Yep, right now it's take a little off the seat. Do not put more sag than the factory spec as some do because while the boots are closer to the ground the shock is riding too far into the progression of travel; takes away net travel and rides too harshly.

That does sound like the easiest solution. How do you do this, and how much can you lower it?

Thanks for the advice!
