Mfltech relayed to me that he and Sharpie1 where heading over to Stoney and asked if I would like to join them. Sure! Alway nice to pull up and see YZ's Lots of them! Two others were there as well. Ryno had a bad get off and choose to stay back in pain. He did take a Pic of Mike/Mfltech, Tim/Sharpie1, this guy named Travis whom was shady at best but flew on crackerbox and I. 5 miles in we get separated from Tim. Tim found, I looked down 22 to the west, Travis to the east and Mike found him elsewhere. Out of nowhere this Travis character starts throwing his clothes off. Regrouped where off again, Mike. Got over by the east side of the Goat and we got a bit of really hard snow on the trail, not soft like two weeks ago. I looked out towards Pillsbury and rain was heading towards us. Cold rain with no rain gear at all between us. So we head back and the rain hit,,, uh, no rain. Snow and cold as hell. This was good actually. So we did 40 easy miles and I was able to meet four great new people. On the way back down. I then ran into the guys that saved my ass big time last November in Middlecreek. I went for the big fly off a edge and they helped me get my bike back up. Thanks again! You can see the snow streaks in the bottom pic. Weird weather and a fun day, Bear Valley was then stellar all the way home. Thirty miles of this thrashed road.
