I will be useing my 450 to ride around while my son learns the ropes of riding with his xr-100...i know that i can't sit around at idle (like ii do with my xr-250) with the 450, but can anyone say what are the tell tale signs of a boil over<aside from frame spars glowing red>....and does adding water wetter in fact help..??....and if so, how much to add, and must i drain any fliud before adding the wetter..?......thanks in advance....----bob

I would use Engine Ice. It's already premixed, just drain the fluid and put it in. Water Wetter did not work well for me.

Engine Ice works great! No problems with overheating at all. I would use it over water wetter any day.
