my wr has just hit 8000km 8218km to be exact.. It gets new oil every 1000km and filter every 2000km. I dont ride hard, but i do rider everywhere.. from mud (now winter) to sand dunes in the summer. Its my dual sport bike, if i can call it that. The bike is stock - Only mods i know of are Throttle stock removed(from factory) grey wire is cut Snorkel removed stock exhaust gutted fuel screw turned out 2 turns. The bike also still has the AIS. Figured removing it wont make such a difference. Ive had the rear spokes replaced at about 6000km, when i noticed they were loose and a lack on my part to check them, meant that i couldnt tighten them as they were stuck. Now here's the thing. I rode about 120km today and on the way home, i decided that she now needs some tlc. Im technical minded so ill be doing everything myself. What should I be looking at checking out other then the engine? Frame Suspention Wheels Drivetrain. Im going to be taking it apart little by little, cleaning here and there, lubricating this and that. They cables - clutch - Accel and hotstart are all still original - they are fine, but should i look at replacing them or just lubing them?
