Battery Question

I put a new Zeta clutch perch on my bike. In order for the E-Start to work, I had to eliminate the switch that is built into the stock clutch lever by cutting it off and completing the circut by twisting the two wires together. Now my battery has a problem holding a charge.

By completing the circut for the clutch switch, I didn't think that it would drain the battery. But does it? Or is my battery just going?

no that wouldn't drain it. The clutch switch is just a safety switch. Twisting the wires together just gets rid of the switch and makes it "ready to fire" when you push the e start button.

I did mine a while ago, my battery has been fine.

I will have the battery tested next then.
