XR200R rebuild.

Recommended Posts

I have pictures that would show progress but I do not have a photobucket account as it is blocked by the firewall. I decided not to do any cosmetic repair for now. I want this to be a rider not a restored garage piece. So far it has: New rear wheel bearings & spacers, chain & sprockets, rebuilt rear shock, clean air box with new filter (backfire screen cut out for 0.5 hp) clean & rejetted carb., oil change, new shift shaft seal, greased rear suspension bearings, cam chain adjusted & new spark plug.

Yet to do: vavle adjustment, decomp seal replaced, decomp cable adjustment, new fork seals & oil, renthal handle bars, spider grips, bark busters, new headlight bulb, new kickstart lever and beefed up foot pegs. I am sure I have forgotten some stuff and that more items will arise as I go. Should be fun when finished. I am taking my time & enjoying this rebuild. If anyone wants to post the pics for me I can email a few.

Thanks,

DT

Try www.imageshack.us. That site seems to get around firewalls pretty well.
