For the Edelbrock owners:

I've not seen a cheap, sano solution to the long idle adjustment knob on the Edelbrock carb so I decided to make my own:

Step One:

Remove hose guide from top of case.

Step Two:

File to fit under carb bowl screw.

Step Three:

Put idle "cable" in guide.

Not bad, one question though. Is it still pretty easy to adjust with that much of a bend in the cable?

No noticeable difference. In fact the bend is less than when it is zip-tyed to the frame as most people will recommend.

i just set mine up on the valve cover and it stays there 95% of the time. and i can still adjust it pretty easily. I like your idea though!
