Vernon or Kamloops riders

I just moved out to the Okanagan and it seems like epic riding around here! Anyone wanna go riding? or can you point me to some decent trails?

I am in Falkland, between Vernon and Kamloops.

Your closest spot would be Mt Ida. Take the Salmon river Rd to the Silver Crk fire hall on the way to Salmon Arm. Pit's there or 8km up the FSR.

There's also Lavington area just outside Vernon up the Noble Caynon Rd.

I think inks or greenstone Mtn in Kamloops is closer

It has to do with the area and me not wanting to start a thread about the obvious, and that's how tinder dry it is.

But, yes i think everyone is aware of the fire rating, on the other hand i did catch some idoits with a fire, the day of the ban last friday,and i do belive forestry did catch up with them.

Lots of good trails near Falkland. You need to head up into the Fly Hills and just start looking around.

the only track around is bear creek .. but is closed till sept hope that the fires dont get it .Lots of offroading though..Check out WWW.sodbc.ca

i have only heard word of the bear creek track. but if there was one up there that would be amazing. is that near summer land?

There was a private track just West of Summerland that closed down several years ago. The only track close to you is Bear Creek.

That would be Giants Head ?

That track had the coolest ledged downhill. You could fly as far as you dared.
