Hows painted Leatt holding up?

I just picked up a couple of Leatt braces. One for me and one for the son. I noticed many have painted theirs and they look fantastic. For those of you that have done this, I am curious how it is holding up after time?

I haven't seen anybody paint them around here. But I do see people put the graphics kits on them...they look pretty cool.

Negative. I called Leatt and asked them about it and they state painting will not harm anything. From what I have read many of the pro racers have their braces painted. The coolest part is I asked them for a couple new stickers because the paint covered the old ones and they are sending them out no charge:thumbsup:

Mine is holding up great after a full year of racing. I put on 3 coats of dupli-color paint, and about 4 or 5 coats of dupli-color clear coat.

haha.ok i apologize for saying 95.but id do for around 65-70.dont get ur pantys in a bunch,cuz i do it with high gloss dupont automotive paint and clear.the only reason i charge that much is becuz of the costs of the paint in itself,not the labor.
