Baja 8" race light wiring

Hi. I´ve just finished mounting my new baja design 8" light on my 2000 XR650R, and it works great. But since I´ve disabled my blinkers and all, do I really need all the wiring going to my handlebars (light controls, blinkers and horn)? I tried to pull out the last plug (shown in the picture, but then my lights stopped working. Is there anyway go get around this?

I just want the wires going from the light, and into the wires going beneath the tank.

The baja designs lights rock! No comparison. I have two on 2 diff bikes. Excellent light pattern, and sturdy.

So I talked to Tex at Baja design today, and he tried to explain to me how to get rid of the wiring going to the handlebars, which are no longer in use. I couldn´t figure it out. My lights work as long as the white plugs in this new picture is plugged together, but once i disable them, the lights stop working, both front and back.

Any ideas??
