Kickstarter bolt thread spec

Anyone know what the thread specs are for the bolt that holds the kickstarter on the shaft? Lost the nut, and can't really take the bike into lowes to test fit it. The bike is a 2002 KDX 220.

I'm guessing it's a 12x1.25 thread. 12x1 didn't fit.

this has come up before and i cant seem to find it. if i had pitch guages id measure it for you. i think its a fine thread though, i would have assumed that 12x1 was correct, do they go any finer that 1.0 on an m12 diameter?
