I have a 89 CR500 that had 66 HP and a top speed of 107 MPH. Got it up to 80 and then chickened out because I went over some high speed bumps, but the previous owner got it all the way to the top. By the way, I run a 14/48 I think

I was going sooooooooooooo fast on a trail once that the inertia transferred into the Katoom that I t-boned actually swapped the motor into the Katoom's frame!??

The factory mounts need to be cut out, and new ones fit and welded. There are other mounts, like the expansion chamber stays, head stay, silencer mounts and coil mounts as well. The air boxes from the CR500 and KTM need to be 'rubber welded' together too. Other than that, it is just a matter of bolting on your suspension.

I am planning on doing a run of frames, maybe 5 to 10, if you are interested. The frame required for the swap is an RFS, 450 cc's or more.
