Honda o6 hrc kit, black plastic??

nice site, new here, thinking of buying 06 trx 450r .The HRC kit from what ive heard the increase in power is great but does it change when it comes on, lower, higher ? Also i really like the all black but how long untill the plastic looks like junk? I ride mostly sand and a few trails , any response would be great thanks

I was in Florence OR this weekend on my black 06 with HRC. Its seen one trail ride and the sand ride and the plastic took a good beating.

As for power. I cant help stock except for a few alley test rides but to me it feels stronger all over with the kit. Im not too fond of the gearing and probably will still drop one in the front to help with quicker starts for Comp hill

06 model HRC kit is a good investment - much better than the 04/05 model HRC kit. Go for it, and hang on. As good or better power on the 06 than stock everywhere on the RPM range.

'06 HRC KIT good for 6 HP over stock according to out DYNO tests........good investment !! And still retains bottom end power too. I'll post dyno graphs if needed. KLX
