Depending on rider weight, grade and other variables a Blaster should get well into the 60's.

A modded Blaster like that one could probably do 70 mph with the right gearing.

Years ago I built up a Blaster for my son to ride. He wanted a Banshee but I wouldn't let him have one at 16 years old. I ported the cylinder, milled the stock head 24/1000ths, modded the squish band on the head, high comp piston and gasket set, Trinity exhaust, modded airbox w/ Uni filter inc necessary jetting and went up a tooth on the front sprocket.

When we were done that Blaster would stay very close w/ a stock Banshee. He beat many 125 MX bikes drag racing them. Top speed was high 70's.

id say a stock one would go maybe 60...thats stretchin it, dont try to run one too hard...mine somehow blew headgaskets whenever id rev them to the moon, eventually blew one didnt know it untill it was too late and here i sit with a locked up crank.

If a blaster was beating 125's in a drag, then the blaster was far from stock. My banshee when it had bolt ons would spank my banshee(when it just had bolt ons) and other 450 quads.

it's not fast you go, it's how fast you get there.

It doesn't take a lot to make a Blaster beat a stock 125 MX bike in a drag race. I listed the mods to my son's old Blaster and he beat many 125's, a few 250's with bad riders and even a few Banshee's. Rider skill and even weight make a big difference in the results.
