Yamaha Warrior Help..Sprockets..

Recommended Posts

I need some suggestions about the Sprockets i should put on my 1998 warrior 350. I have stock 13 teeth on the front and have a 38 tooth sprocket on the back.

To have more top end power should I stay with that or what.

any suggestions

Sprockets dont change the power, they change the gear ratios. For example, you can regear your bike to have more top speed (at the cost of some acceleration) or you can gear it for more acceleration (at the cost of top speed).

To make the bike accelerate faster you can install a larger rear sprocket, or smaller front sprocket or both

To make the bike have more top speed (but accelerate slower) you can install a smaller rear sprocket or larger front sprocket or both
