Shift lever

Hey guys this last weekend i went to the dunes, i brought my bike and my girlfriends trx as back up cuz i have been fighting my bike :bonk: long story short i bent the cheesy stock shift lever and i was wondering what you recommend for replacement... i am thinking about the tusk one that rockymountain offers just cuz it's a good price and how can it be weaker than the stock one?

Honestly i just replaced my bent shift lever with an OEM from the parts sstore!!!! it was like 15 bucks max!!!! its pretty f'n solid man!!!

If it bent on me when i wasn't even rodding it... and i could bend it back with one hand i was a lil concerned... just wanted something stronger than factory...

buy asv levers. there pretty pricey but there almost unbreakable. ive had the same ones on my race bike for 3 years now

i agree, i bought some asv levers 2 years ago cuz i had a bad crash on a frozen road, i bent my bar mounts, smashed the throttle tube, broke the levers and bent the shifter. i replaced my levers with asv and i crashed again the other day and bent my mounts again but the levers werent touched, they flip out instead of cracking. they may run you close to 160-190 bucks, i have the asv f3's. and i got them on ebay. and i replaced my shifter with a hammerhead shifter which is like rebar, basically indestructable.

So I am going to buy a brand new ktm 150sx. Should I wait until the 2019 come out? When does the 2019’s come out? It is March 22, 2018 right now. I have the cash already, but want to make the right decision. Thank you.

Does anyone know how to, or if you can, change your AMA number? The race number, not the full thing.

I have a 1990 Suzuki RMX250 for sale.  It was bought from a friend who bent the crank back in 2000 and took it completely apart (down to the nuts, bolts, and washers).  The frame was powder coated black.  New crank case bearings, new gaskets for crank case, cylinder, and cylinder head.  All transmission bearings were cleaned and checked for wear or damage.  The crank was rebuilt and balanced by a local Harley shop.  New OEM piston and rings.  Cylinder and head are in excellent condition and worth almost as much as the entire bike, I think.  Brand new FMF Gold Fatty pipe.  New front and rear Renthal sprockets and new D.I.D. chain.  New grips.  Includes the original headlight and odometer (not shown), Mikuni TM38 carb has been cleaned and rebuilt.  Seat is original and in perfect condition. Runs perfectly.  Could use some new plastics, new foot pegs, front fork seals, rear tire, and a tune by someone better than I.  Pink slip in hand, but hasn't been registered in years.  Will throw in a Clymer manual.  The bike is a rocket and too tall for my 5'9" frame.  I'd like something a little more convenient to ride with my young kids. Asking $1800 OBO.  Serious inquiries only please.  Price doesn't include any shipping.

Hey guys I just bought a bike last night. So the seller said the bike will turn on but then die. We didn't try it because it was really late at night and it was raining (seat was wet). But he said if you bump start it, it will turn on and ride. So what do you think the problem is? I just want to make sure it runs... I probably won't be able to bump start it till Saturday (rain)... It's a four stroke, and I know absolutely nothing about them. Thanks.

I have recently been having problems with my honda mtx 125. It will run great for 10 minutes then it will die on me if i give it any throttle. The bike will idle fine but cuts out if I give it any gas. When I let it Idle for 1 minute it will work fine for another few minutes then the same problem happens.
I have adjusted the carburetor many times to see if it was because its too lean or rich but the problem happens either way. I am running 40:1 fuel mixture. I recently replaced the head gasket and I noticed the piston needs replacing as its very worn, could this be the problem?
Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated!
