Cylinder Porting

Lately i have been looking into porting my '02 kx125, and being a poor college kid i would like to do it myself. The problem is, I don't know where to start, there is tons of information about it here and I have read as much as I can but i still don't know what exactly i need to do (how to shape ports, if i need to add epoxy some places, etc.). Are there any books that i could buy that would guide me with what i need to do, all of the stuff online says that you have to change the port timing or transfer port volume, but it doesn't say how much.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :bonk:

Without a great deal of knowledge on the flow dynamics inside an engine, and the various effects of altering port timing, area, angle, volume, etc, you'll end up ruining your cylinder. Leave the porting to the professional tuners.
